Objective: NFSC believes all children should have the opportunity to play soccer, even those who have genuine challenges meeting the financial commitments of being a NFSC soccer player. In order to keep participation in our program affordable, NFSC has established a financial aid program to provide partial assistance to players with an economic need
 
Overview: The NFSC Financial Aid Program will be under the direct supervision of the NFSC Board Secretary with oversight from the NFSC Board. Financial aid amounts are awarded on an annual basis in June. Scholarship amounts cover training fees only. Players are responsible for covering all other costs (registration fees, uniform cost, travel and tournament fees). NFSC reserves the right to award full and/or partial scholarships based on NFSC established criteria. Validation of financial information will be required (tax return, paycheck stub, proof of reduce lunch program ).

Eligibility: The NFSC Financial Aid Program is open to all registered players affiliated with NFSC.

Criteria: Financial need is the primary determinant in receiving financial aid. However, the following will also be taken into consideration in awarding financial aid:
• Amount of funds available
• Number of applications received
• Loyalty to the Club – years with a club affiliated with NFSC
• The number of siblings playing for NFSC
• Any unpaid fees from a prior season
• Club volunteer levels

Applicants must complete the required application form and return the completed application to NFSC no later than June 30. Funds are available on a first come first service basis. Supporting documentation is required at the time of application. Example of support documentation include a Tax return or proof of qualifications in a federal reduce lunch program or other federal assistance program..
